Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of theaeoloop.com and the AEO Loop service (the "Service"). By using the site or the free scanner, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

The service

The AEO Loop provides a free AI Visibility Scanner, a founder-reviewed Gap Report, and paid implementation and retainer engagements. The scanner runs real queries against third-party AI engines and classifies your visibility using a fixed rule set.

No guarantees — results are directional

AI answer engines are non-deterministic and change frequently. We do not promise specific rankings, recommendation placements, traffic, leads, or revenue. Scanner results and reports are directional and provided for guidance; they should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions. The free scanner and Gap Report are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• misuse, overload, or attempt to overload the scanner or our APIs;
• access the Service by automated means, scrape it, or attempt to circumvent rate limits or bot protection;
• submit unlawful, infringing, or knowingly false information;
• use the Service to harm others or to build a competing product.

We may rate-limit, block, or suspend access to protect the Service.

Paid engagements

Paid packages (Foundation Build) and retainers (Momentum, Growth, Authority, Custom) are governed by the scope, fees, and terms set out in a separate proposal or order. Scope is defined upfront; work outside it is quoted separately. Fees are due as stated in that agreement.

Cancellation, refunds & satisfaction

Retainers run on an initial commitment of one quarter (three monthly cycles). That commitment is good faith rather than a debt: if you stop after cycle 1 or 2, the remaining cycles of the initial quarter are waived and we finish the period you have already paid for. After that initial quarter, you may cancel with 15 days' written notice before your next billing date; there is no multi-year lock-in. Fees already paid for the current billing period are non-refundable. Annual (prepaid) retainers are refunded pro-rata for any full, unstarted quarters. The Foundation Build is refundable in full until work begins and non-refundable once it has started. Work begins when we deliver your day-0 baseline scan, which we do within 3 business days of payment and which requires no access from you. If we have not delivered that baseline within 10 business days of payment, you may request a full refund; that period is extended day for day by any delay in providing the access or materials listed in your Access Authorization, and if access is not granted within 30 calendar days the engagement is placed on hold and the fee is held as a credit against the work for 6 months. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not cured within 15 days of written notice. Because AI answer engines are non-deterministic, we do not guarantee specific rankings, recommendations, traffic, or leads, and fees are not contingent on such outcomes. Where these terms and a signed engagement order differ, the signed order controls.

Intellectual property

The AEO Loop's methodology, prompts, scoring system, reports, and site content are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of the content and information you provide to us. Your Gap Report is for your internal use; please do not redistribute or repackage our methodology or materials.

Confidentiality of the Gap Report

The Gap Report is a diagnostic and strategic summary, not a full implementation guide, and reflects our proprietary method. You agree not to reverse-engineer it or resell it as a competing service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The AEO Loop is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its results. Our total liability for any claim relating to the free Service is limited to zero; for a paid engagement, it is limited to the fees you paid for the engagement giving rise to the claim.

Changes

We may update the Service and these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it. We will update the "last updated" date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
